Mahidol University has a strong commitment to the highest standards of ethics in research to ensure that the research at Mahidol U satisfies the standards of disciplinary best practice.

To comply with internationally accepted ethical guidelines, the research with human subjects should be carried out only by, or strictly supervised by, qualified and experienced investigators.The research protocols should be scientifically and ethically reviewed and approved by suitably constituted review bodies, independent of the investigators.

The Center of Ethical Reinforcement for Research, Mahidol University has developed Self-Assessment forms for Human Subject Research which are intended to be reference for investigators. Nevertheless, the ultimate decision relies on each Research Ethics Committee Standard Operating Procedures.
